Worst dressed at TFPW day three

Fashion Pakistan Week, day three seemed to be a rough night for fashion. TV show host Muzna Ibrahim and model Fia Khan were among those who stepped out in outfits that made us want to shield our eyes.

Hence they successfully qualified for our top choice of the worst dressed for the night. Here’s how you can prevent yourself from committing sartorial crimes.

Muzna Ibrahim 



Outfit

Lady Gaga can definitely be forgiven for her fashion faux pas at this year’s Academy Awards, after we saw Dr Muzna Ibrahim. Like seriously what are you doing? That top doesn’t even qualify to be beachwear if worn without those pyjamas. We can’t even say that she is coming straight out of her bed, because even night suits are better than what she had opted for. Coming back to the grand fashion night, this look is a big NO.

Hair and make-up

We would really like to appreciate her for putting in some effort with her hair and makeup. To complete her confused look for the night, Muzna chose to curl her hair, the safe option for summer evenings. She carried garishly dark lips and with a thick black luxe eyeliner. Again not the best on contrary to what she looks like normally on television.

Accessories

Muzna tried to add a zing to her dress by pairing it up with a blue beaded necklace but failed miserably as it is an extension of the colours of her top and doesn’t do anything to accentuate her look. Her shoes are also a mundane choice. It just looks like another pair of comfortable slippers that you wear around your house. Be casual, but not that casual!

Fia Khan 



Outfit

Fia came as a sigh of relief to what Muzna had done to us earlier. She proved herself by carrying out the ‘sartorial crime’ so elegantly. It is quite commendable. She opted for the trending colour of this season but the done to death silhouette did not do the justice at all. Draped in mother lode of sheer fabric, the model didn’t look her best. But her gorgeous smile just saved her day.

Hair and make-up

Fia opted for a traditional evening look for any glamorous event. She was spotted in smokey eyes and nude lips, it was subtle and up to the mark. Her half tied hairdo with loose curls didn’t seem to get the limelight. She should have opted for a messy or sleek bun, to highlight the essence of her look. It looked flat land also killed her perfectly done makeup.

Accessories

As they say, smile is the best accessory someone can wear, Fia played it safe. She also wore unnoticeable ear studs. It should have been a little more blingy or just sophisticated crystal earrings to compliment her outfit. Seems like she was in a rush to reach the event and completely forgot to change her shoes, like its ok to pair up silver and gold, but sorry in this case these golden pair of heels doesn’t work.
