KARACHI: Karachi Electricity Supply Corporation (KESC) secured a 2-0 win over Karachi Port Trust (KPT) in the Pakistan Premier League. KPT began strongly as Akhtar Mamil and right winger Muhammad Zadid hits shots on goal in the first minute before Muhammad Moosa’s goal in the 36th minute was declared off-side by the referee.

However, it was Muhammad Essa who scored the first goal of the match in the 38th minute to help KESC lead 1-0 at the interval. It was all downhill from there for KPT as they lost their forward Ismail Baba when he was sent out for abusing the KESC players after the off-side decision.

Essa then sealed the win with a goal in the fourth minute of injury time through a header. KESC are now in third place with 44 points while KPT sit on the fifth place with 40 points.
