Robbery: Two booked; house burgled

Separate cases have been registered

RAWALPINDI: Two persons were booked and a house was burgled in separate incidents in the Gulzar-e-Quaid area of Rawalpindi during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, Adeel lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Hashim Khan and Tanvir thrashed his brother and two friends with pistol butts and snatched Rs20,000 cash and mobile phones from them. The victims were riding on a motorcycle when they were intercepted on the road. Meanwhile, Arslan lodged a report with the local police stating that unidentified thieves entered his house in Airport Housing Society by breaking its locks and made away with £200, Rs35,000 cash, jewellery, three mobile phones, a camera and other valuables. Separate cases have been registered, the police said.
