Shame: Two women killed for ‘honour’

BAHAWALPUR: Two women were killed for ‘honour’ in separate incidents on Tuesday. Police said a resident of Khanpur killed his pregnant wife with an axe. They said he had suspected his wife of having an affair with one of their neighbours.

In another incident, a resident of Jamaldinwali shot his mother dead. Bangla Acha police said the woman was asleep in her room when her son had shot her. They took the body into custody and registered a case against the suspect..
