Top 25 companies: EFU receives award

KARACHI: EFU Life Assurance Limited, a leading private sector life insurance company in Pakistan, has been honoured for its excellent performance at the prestigious Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) Top Companies Awards Ceremony for the year 2013, according to a press release. EFU Life MD and CEO Taher Sachak received the award from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during a ceremony in Karachi. With this award, EFU Life joins the club of the top 25 companies reflecting financial and managerial performance among the 569 companies listed at the bourse to receive the award for the respective year. The KSE Top Companies Awards acknowledges the performances on the basis of comprehensive criteria, which includes dividend payout, capital efficiency, profitability, free-float of shares, transparency and investor relations and compliance with listing of companies and securities regulation.
