Pak-Saudi joint exercise underway since March 18 in KSA: ISPR

292 Pakistani troops participating in the exercise, says Gen Asim Bajwa

RAWALPINDI: A pre-scheduled Pak-Saudi joint exercise, Samsam-5, is underway since March 19 in Taif, Saudia Arabia, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

According to DG ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa, 292 Pakistani troops are participating in the exercise.

Samsam is a joint exercise held every year between the two countries, and in 2014 it was held near Jhelum in Pakistan, added the DG.
