Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said on Saturday that PTI chief Imran Khan was doing ‘politics of destruction’ and his politics revolved around former spymasters, jobless bureaucrats and turncoat politicians.
Talking to the media at a luncheon in honour of newly elected senators, he said that the objective of PTI’s sit-in was to destabilise the country.
Imran used to criticise MQM leader Altaf Hussain during the day, but waited for his phone calls at night, Rashid said, adding that from atop his container the PTI chief used to accuse the MQM of rigging the elections in Karachi, but when he planned to stage a public rally in the city, he begged the MQM for support.
“This shows the double standards of Imran's politics,” the minister said. The leaked audio tape has exposed the real agenda of Imran.
Rashid said Imran’s sympathies were with terrorists when the nation was planning operation against enemies of the state and now when a brotherly Islamic state is facing threats, he has sympathies with its opponents.
