Construction giant Bahria Town is hosting golf championship that opens on Thursday (today) in Islamabad.
The 5th Chairman Bahria Town Open Golf Championship 2015 is being organised by Bahria Town from March 26 to 29, at Garden City Golf & Country Club Islamabad and Bahria Golf City Golf & Country Club, said a press release.
Catering to all golf enthusiasts, this championship is open for all golf clubs associated with Pakistan Golf Federation, with categories for professionals, senior professionals, amateurs, senior amateurs, ladies, and club members.
The championship has attracted about 300 participants from around the country to compete on these beautifully landscaped golf courses. The competition offers prizes for each category with Rs3.2 million for the professional category.
Bahria Town has always taken initiatives to promote sports around the country.
