Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is all set to unveil her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum in London on Friday, March 27.

The actress was selected to feature in the gallery of Hindi film actors based on the results of a public poll, which also included Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. This makes her the eighth Bollywood actor to feature in the Bollywood section of the famed London attraction.

The 31-year-old actress couldn’t contain her excitement as she talked about the special moment at the red carpet of Femina Women Awards.

"It was really exciting when I first heard the news. It is something which will be there forever.”

"I have grown up in London for a few years, so it brings back lot of nice memories. I would be launching it on March 27 in London at the main Madame Tussauds and I am really looking forward to it," she added.

It is being speculated that Salman Khan, the actress’s former boyfriend, will be travelling to London to accompany Katrina on the occasion.
