Meet Vishal Malhotra who attracted millions of eyeballs for playing the Pakistani supporter in the Star Sports promotional video, hoping for his country to beat India in the World Cup so that he can finally burst the crackers he’s had since 1992.

The 'Mauka Mauka' man who has become a household name in the cricketing world, especially in Pakistan, is an up-and-coming actor and model.

However, he is not a newbie in the showbiz industry. Before ‘Mauka’, he did another commercial, with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

He also played a cameo in Ragini MMS 2 featuring popular actress Sunny Leone.
But, the ‘Mauka Mauka’ campaign has emerged as a changing point in his career. The actor is now receiving overwhelming praise and support far and wide.

According to The Hindustan Times, the Delhi-based actor cannot believe he has become this famous. “No, I never thought it would be this big. I wasn’t aware of the second ad. They called me after the first one had gone viral,” says Malhotra, adding, “And now, everywhere I go, people want to shake hands and click selfies with me.

Recently interviewed by India.com, the man has an engineering degree and has also worked for Accenture. After quitting his job, he enrolled in Balaji acting school in Mumbai. And now he has two Bollywood projects up for the release this year.
