Nude motorcyclist arrested in Lahore after video goes viral

Khan, who goes by the nickname "Rocket", had bet his friends he could pull off the nude stunt

LAHORE: A motorcyclist has been arrested in Lahore after police caught him riding naked along a busy road, days after a video of his exploits went viral on social media.

Police got word on Saturday that Shehroz Khan, 20, was riding naked once again on Lahore's Main Boulevard. They blocked the road from all sides and Khan was flagged down and arrested, police said on Monday.

"We arrested Shehroz on Saturday for overspeeding, violating traffic rules and for revealing his private organs in public," police officer Zulfiqar Butt said. "He's still in police custody though all three offences are bailable."

Khan, who goes by the nickname "Rocket", had bet his friends he could pull off the nude stunt, media said.

TV channels showed footage of a naked Khan doing a wheelie in the city centre while scores of cheering friends followed on their bikes.

Sonny Afridi | 9 years ago | Reply Doing wheelies naked? I never get on my motorcycle without my gloves and helmet. I'll give it to this guy for bravery (the stupid/crazy kind). On a side note - God bless Lahore and people of Lahore. Khan should be released with just a small slap on the wrist.

Notary | 9 years ago | Reply @Notary, Gentleman! ,Forgive me as i had no intentions to spoil the Fun ride. & Perhaps you are right, just because some part of the body is infested with a disease, one might as well drop down the pants.Already we need abusive language to impress the importance in our conversation, and now we have visual arts/stunts too. Morality in the eye? thats what some rapist would say too, if one does not like it they shouldnt interfere ,Look away, or dress properly, walk properly. Dont get me wrong , but there must be a code/a limit of ethics, No one should be allowed to go below that, whether it be an on-air comedian or simply a person who is alone/alive. Scientifically , our survival is via evolution and the core source for that is inspiration. Hence, pls avoid the Chaos theory,good or bad, but we owe alot to our predecessors for making this far and even more to our children .

notary | 9 years ago | Reply Man. An excellent example of how an unarmed citizen can create an impact. I stand by his side. Radical steps are needed to wake us up from our slumber. With this stunt, he has exposed our hypocrisy and nonsensical media. If it were a woman, streets would have been jam packed. Need I say more to justify my claim?
