Show-Cause: QWP MPA resigns over notice

PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party MPA Bakht Baidar resigned from the party on Saturday over a show-cause notice issued to him and two others over their ‘conduct’ during the recently-held Senate polls. The notices were issued following a meeting at Watan Kor, the party’s headquarters, with QWP Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao in the chair. Baidar told The Express Tribune he has resigned from the party and will also resign from the K-P Assembly on Monday. Insiders said he was unhappy over the party ticket for the Senate elections being awarded to Ammar Ahmad Khan.
