Crime and punishment: Convict to be hanged on 18th

LAHORE:

District and Sessions judge Tariq Iftikhar Ahmed on Friday deputed a judicial magistrate at the central jail to witness the execution and attest the last will of a murder convict to be hanged on March 18 in Gujrat.

Prison authorities had written to the judge, requesting him to depute a magistrate to witness the execution and attest the last will Azhar Mehmood. The man was convicted of muder.
