Resisting robbers: Man gunned down

A band of unidentified masked robbers intercepted them near Changla Gali and snatched Rs0.25 million.

ABBOTTABAD: A man was shot dead while resisting robbers in Galiyat, police said on Thursday. According to a police official, three employees of a private telecom company were en route to Galiyat in a truck on Wednesday night. A band of unidentified masked robbers intercepted them near Changla Gali and snatched Rs0.25 million from their possession. During the ordeal, truck driver Sohail Abbasi, resident of Batnara village, resisted, prompting the others to open fire.
