LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday sought comments from Baghbanpura police on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against his brother for preparing a forged national identity card.

Petitioner Muhammad Ashraf said his brother Niaz Ahmed had acquired an identity card by changing his and their father’s names. He said he had requested the Baghbanpura police to take action against Ahmed but he did not.

He requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against his brother.
