While praising the anti-polio initiative by the PTI in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), Gates said that the programme offers a ray of hope in the fight against the crippling disease in the way it has yielded positive results.

Gates told the PTI chief that they had faced more difficulties in Nigeria with polio than in K-P. He also gave Imran tips for improving the anti-polio campaign in the province.

He lauded PTI for their cooperation with the federal government on anti-polio campaign despite their differences.

The philanthropist, who on Monday was named by Forbes magazine as the richest man in the world, also offered his condolences over Army Public School, Peshawar tragedy.
'Sehat ka Ittehad' is a joint initiative of the provincial and federal govenrnmets and is being conducted simultaneously in 21 different parts of K-P, North and South Waziristan Agencies along with Frontier Regions Bannu and Peshawar.
