Seven key measures decided during a meeting of the Apex Committee Sindh are as follows:
1. The scope of targeted operation will be extended to other cities of Sindh 2. Closure of unregistered madrassas or their fresh registration and crackdown on illegal immigrants 3. Afghan refugees’ registration to be completed within a month 4. Collaborators of terrorists will be incarcerated for 90 days and leaders of banned outfits will be arrested 5. Activities of banned organisations to be curtailed 6. Depoliticisation of Karachi police and setting up of more check-posts at the Sindh-Balochistan border 7. Sindh divided into three zones for the implementation of the National Action Plan.
