A district and sessions court sought comments from the Defence B SHO regarding a petition filed by a retired Pakistan Air Force (PAF) official seeking the registration of a case against his tenants for occupying commercial property and threatening him with dire consequences in case of an attempt to evict them.
Ahmed Salman told the court that he had given some shops on the first floor of his plaza in Defence Housing Authority Phase-I to Muhammad Akram and Shabbir. He said they had stopped paying him rent a few months ago. Salman said the men had claimed that they owned the plaza after he approached them to inquire regarding the matter.
He said he had filed an ejection application with the Cantt rent controller. Salman said the accused had visited his house and threatened to kill him after they were served with a notice from the rent controller. He said they had threatened him with dire consequences if he did not withdraw the application. Salman said he had approached officials at the relevant police station. He said the SHO had not bothered to entertain him. Salman asked the court to direct him to register an FIR.
