Lahore High Court on Wednesday directed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that retuning officers for the upcoming senate elections be provided with the relevant data so that they could determine the eligibility of the contestants. 


The court also issued directives for the federal government seeking revisions in the nomination papers and removal of redundant columns.


It gave the ECP till March 17 to submit a report on its strategy on the scrutiny of nomination papers.
