Intra-party election : PAT to announce polls schedule today

LAHORE: A Pakistan Awami Tehreek election commission will announce the schedule of an upcoming intra-party election in a press briefing on Tuesday. Party leadership will be elected in 100 districts and 300 tehsils across the country in the first phase, PAT officials decided. A special desk will be set up at the party’s central secretariat in Model Town to monitor the election. The 17-member election commission is headed by Sahibzada Faizur Rehman. Those holding PAT offices at administrative levels are eligible to cast votes. Office bearers of PAT women and youth wings and Mustafvi Students Movement will be elected later.
