The advertisement, that went viral on social media, showed a Pakistani man preparing his fireworks before every World Cup game between India vs Pakistan. However, the man would head back to store the fireworks after each of the World Cup games in 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003 and 2011 since Pakistan failed to win any of those games.
In the end, the man looked disappointed and said: “Kab phorangay yaar?”
Responding to the last sentence in the ad, Ajmal said, “This time we will light the fireworks.”
“The ad is a sign that we will not be defeated this time,” he added, while speaking to the media in Lahore.
