The District Consumer Protection Council (DCPC) on Saturday fined three bakeries in Sadiqabad for not listing the manufacture and expiry dates on products they were selling. After issuing the penalties, the DCPC directed the bakery owners to appear before the assistant commissioner for further action, said a press release issued here on Saturday. The fines were issued to three bakeries including Al-Sajjad Bakers, Suleman Food Festival. Earlier, DCPC staff also conducted a raid on Kher Gas Centre on Asghar Mall Road and fined the owner for selling LPG at inflated prices.
