The All-Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has set up a two-day membership camp near Millennium Mall in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
The camp is part of the party’s country-wide campaign, which was initiated last week to increase party membership. APML is currently focusing on Karachi but plans to set up similar camps across the country.
According to APML information secretary Asiya Ishaq, the campaign was launched on the directives of party chief Pervez Musharraf. “We are taking this one step at a time because Musharraf is facing court cases,” she told The Express Tribune.
