Microsoft launches touch-friendly version of Office suite for Windows 10

Next generation of the Office 2016 will be made available to users this year

"The “universal” Office apps are optimised for touch and mobile use and are a great way to take your work on the go," says Microsoft.

American tech giant has released a touch-friendly version its acclaimed Microsoft Office suite designed for Windows 10. Its design will enable users easier access through all touch-devices including tablets, smartphones and some computers.

As promised last month at the Microsoft’s Windows 10 event, the next generation of the Office 2016 will be made available to users this year.

The much awaited Windows 10 will allow Microsoft with a larger user base as it will fit all device categories and screen sizes- thus making it more tempting for developers to make applications on this operating software

This will allow users with touch-friendly devices across all platforms which includes Android and iOS in addition to its mobile-tailored version of Windows. Further announcements will be made on the official Microsoft Office Blog.
