Five Lyari-based gang members were allegedly shot dead by law enforcers on Sunday morning in an encounter near Salar Goth, Malir.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, they had conducted a targeted operation in the area. "After exchanging heavy gun fire for an hour, five men were killed," he said. The deceased, identified as Shiraz Ibrahim, Akbar Maliri, Khalid Lashari, Gulab Hasan and Yousuf Pathan, were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
