Officials told Express 24/7 the federal government has decided to relocate offices of Islamabad's chief commissioner, deputy commissioner, inspector general and other security agencies.
The decision has been made due to threats of terrorist attacks on the offices of law enforcing agencies located in residential areas.
Residents have also strongly demanded the government to shift the offices from the residential areas to the outskirts of the city.
Terrorists targeted headquarters of the Special Investigation Agency (SIA) situated in a posh area in Lahore on March eight.
