Reshuffle: Transfers, postings announced

Government officials in K-P have taken charge of their new designations.

Following his promotion to Grade 22, Sahibzada Ahmad Saeed was relieved of his deputation as energy and power secretary and transferred to the federal government. According to two separate notifications issued on Saturday, Saeed was transferred while elementary and secondary education secretary Afzal Latif has been assigned to look after the energy and power department till further notice.


Saeed has served the province in various capacities including finance secretary, additional chief secretary and Sarhad Development Authority chairman. He was among the three civil servants from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa who were promoted from Grade 21 to Grade 22 a few days ago. Arbab Shahrukh is already serving in the federal government while additional chief secretary Khalid Pervez has vacated his seat and reported to the establishment division. Dr Hammad Owais Agha has been replaced Pervez as additional chief secretary.
