The right-hand batsman decided to get creative in preparation for the World Cup and opted for a hairstyle almost identical to the the world's top footballer Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
The batsmen is also a superstitious guy. In a bid to change his luck, batsman Umar Akmal on the advice of his Pir has opted for number 3 to replace 96 on his shirt.
According to Express News, Umar is fed up with his poor form and has asked for this change.
“Umar will be wearing number 3 on his shirt in the World Cup while newcomer Haris Sohail has opted for 89 instead of 80 which he wore in the recent series against New Zealand,” the report said.

Akmal recently became father to a baby girl and took to his Twitter account to share the exciting news.
He was also sad to be leaving for the World Cup after spending only five days with his daughter, Harleen.

Umm guys, Haris has been using 89 ever since he made his debut.
If Umar Akmal prove himself in the fields of NZ & AUS during this WC 2015 as a top class batsmen and fielder then even he change his hair style everyday with any shape people will appreciate and accept his hair styles because we need output by performance not by style. And if Pakistan win WC15 those hair style designs will be become famous in every barber shop of Pakistan with a new name " Kamal of Akmal style" .Surely a new source of style entertainment for our youngsters with a barber industry revolution.
