The premier has decided to focus on the fuel crisis at home

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday called off his visit to Switzerland keeping in view the prevailing petrol crisis in the country.

Besides cancelling his visit, the premier has also called a meeting on Thursday to review the supply and demand situation of petroleum products for the next two months. Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister ofr Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif are expected to attend the meeting.

The premier was keeping himself updated on the current situation through a special cell created in the ministry of petroleum for this purpose, a spokesperson for the PM House said on Wednesday.

The prime minister was scheduled to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Still voting PMLn for they are best of the available lot. Though I voted PTI on provincial assembly seat, I feel my vote would have been better cast in favor of PMLn. Good going NS. Fix the problems and we will keep voting for u.
