Blurring the divide: PkSF delegations visits Bacha Khan’s tomb

A delegation of Pukhtun Students Federation (PkSF) visited the tomb of Bacha Khan in Jalalabad, Afghanistan for his 27th death anniversary.


Comprising 80 members of PkSF and led by the federation’s president Sardar Fakhre Alam, the delegation visited the tomb, laid a floral wreath on the grave and recited fateha.


According to a press release issued by PkSF on Wednesday, ANP leader Arbab Mohammad Tahir Khan Khalil and government officials of Nangarhar province welcomed the delegation. Khalil also laid a floral wreath at the grave on behalf of party chief Asfandyar Wali Khan.


The leaders of the party and the student wing said in their speeches at the anniversary programme that Bacha Khan’s burial in Jalalabad is a symbol of unity and oneness of Pukhtuns on both sides.
