Clarification: ‘Transfer, postings provincial matter’

KARACHI: The spokesperson for the CM House in Karachi has claimed that transfers and postings are a provincial matter and that the former Sindh home secretary, Niaz Abbasi, was not removed from his post under the influence of the corps commander. The spokesperson issues this statement as a contradiction to a news item published on these pages on January 10.
