PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar talking to media persons after a meeting between government and PTI’s negotiation committee in Islamabad on early Tuesday.
Tareen said PTI was ready to show more flexibility, even though the party had decided not to give any more concession, but for that government should bring some flexibility to their stance.
Talking to media persons after a meeting between government and PTI’s negotiation committee in Islamabad, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and PTI leader agreed that in prevailing scenario, this matter can not be allowed to linger any longer.
Claiming that the formation of an independent judicial commission is a demand of the people, the PTI leader said that it is in the national interest that an independent judicial commission is formed to probe rigging in May 2013 general elections.
Dar claimed that both parties have agreed on the promulgation of a new ordinance for the formation of a commission. Out of the five-page long ordinance, the two sides had difference on just three points, said Dar, adding that “I would again emphasise that consensus can be reach within half an hour if we look at things pragmatically and practically.”
Referring to their last meeting on December 30, 2014, Dar said both parties had exchanged proposal on December 30, there were differences on three points. On Monday, Dar said, the government had responded to PTI concerns.
Both leaders said that the government and PTI will hold at least one more meeting, though neither divulged a time or date for that meeting.

Dollar Dar Need To Go. Brother in law of Nawaz or not
Tareen should know that it is not for the PMLN to over-ride the people's verdict in the 2013 elections in favor of what PTI wants. Lack of respect for the people's verdict by Tareen and Imran Khan and other PTI leaders clearly indicates a lack of respect for the people of Pakistan. Similarly, PTI's lack of respect for democratic institutions as it tried to entice the military into overthrowing the constitution in indicates a lack of respect for the people of Pakistan. As does the lack of concern for Pakistanis killed by the taliban by Imran Khan when he sought past several years to portray the taliban as the aggrieved party (that is, that they are "merely" expressing anger at Pakistan's participation in what Imran Khan called until recently "America's War"). It is high time we started demanding respect for the Pakistani voter and not ignore their verdict the way Tareen is doing.

It's actually the demand of one person on a container whose got nothing better to do. And given his 'principled' history, we shouldn't take him seriously anyway.
