FAISALABAD: Police claimed on Monday to have arrested three men suspected of assaulting a 13-year-old boy near Sargodha Road on Monday. Akram Ali, uncle of the victim, told police that his 13-year-old nephew Imran had gone to a bazaar to purchase vegetables when he was abducted by three men - Faiz Khalid Khan, Ali Hussain Khan and Muhammad Tehseen Bhatti –and taken to a deserted house. He said when the boy resisted, the men beat him. He said the men had raped his nephew before they fled. Sargodha Road SHO said a case had been registered under Section 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against the accused. He said a team had raided several houses and arrested all the suspects. He said the men would be produced in the court of a judicial magistrate. He said Imran had been sent to a hospital for his medico-legal report.
