MULTAN:

Vandals broke into a girls’ school in Vehari district and set fire to the building on Tuesday. The fire swept through the school building, destroying furniture, fittings and its academic records.

Earlier, the vandals broke the locks of each classroom as they entered 218-EB Girls Middle School early today.

Several rooms were badly damaged by the fire even before the rescue officials could arrive on the scene. There were no students in the school at the time of the arson attack.
