Security forces kill 9 militants in Swat

Sporadic clashes between security forces and remnants of Taliban continue in Swat.

SWAT: In the latest sporadic clash, between security forces and remnants of Taliban in Swat, nine militants have been killed during a search and comb operation in the Valley.

Five militants were killed in the Deolai area of Tehsil Kabal while three others were targeted in the Chapri area of Tehsil Bahrain.

A heavy cache of weapons, which included hand grenades, machine guns, pistols and cartridges, was also seized during the operation.
