In the family: Two killed over property dispute

SWABI: Two people were shot dead over a property dispute in Marghuz, Swabi on Sunday. Shaheer Muhammad told Zaida police that his uncles and father were dividing among themselves their joint property which included shops in Marghuz Bazaar. Shaheer added his cousins Sohail Abbas, Sajid Abbas and Gul Nawaz arrived and demanded a share for their mother. This led to a dispute between Shaheer’s father Zaheer and his nephews. According to Shaheer, all three nephews returned later in the day and opened fire at Zaheer Muhammad, killing him and his friend Bakhtiar on the spot. The suspects fled after committing the crime. Police lodged an FIR against the accused and started a search.
