LAHORE: A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials raided Protein Shop on Nisbet Road and recovered unregistered drugs including Winstrol and Testolic, Stanazolol, Danabol, Advil, Centrum silver and Centrum injections and tablets on Thursday. FIA Assistant Director Khalid Anis, who led the raid, later told The Express Tribune that Zeeshan Idrees, the proprietor of the medical store, had been arrested on the spot and a case had been registered against him. He said that the FIA had launched a crackdown against all drug dealers selling fake medicines and pharmaceutical factories manufacturing fake and unregistered medicines. He said that they had identified around 1,200 such factories and had shared the list with DCO Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman. He said that they would take action against all such factories.
