Health initiative: Rs300m to be given for hospital in Muzaffargarh

The Health Department signed an agreement on Saturday with the Tayyab Erdogan Hospital Muzaffargarh Trust. Under the agreement, the Punjab government will provide land and Rs300 million initially for building the 500-bed hospital. A medical college will also be built at the hospital.


The agreement was signed during a ceremony held at the CM’s House. Punjab government spokesman Syed Zaeem Qadri, Hospital Trust chairman Mian M Ahsan, Board of Revenue Senior Member Nadeem Ashraf, Planning and Development Chairman Irfan Elahi, Health Secretary Jawad Rafiq Malik and Local Government Secretary Khalid Masood also attended the event.
