Plans: AJK to set up text book board

MIRPUR:

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has decided to establish a text book board. The board will prepare text books for public schools and colleges in the state.

The AJK government has also announced to establish a modern teacher-training academy. The government would engage highly-qualified professionals to train the current and new coming teachers for government-run schools and colleges.

The government would set up computer labs and provide information technology equipment to over 200 state-run educational institutes in Mirpur district.
