Pak Reinsureance: Employees get units, dividend

ISLAMABAD: Federal Commerce Minister Amin Fahim distributed shares of Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL) under the Benazir Employees Stock Option Scheme (Besos) among its employees on Wednesday.

About 228 employees received, on an average, 20 units - each unit having 4,000 shares. Similarly, every employee got, on an average, a dividend of Rs111,000, according to a statement issued by the ministry of commerce.

Speaking on the occasion, Fahim said 18.4 million shares have been distributed among PRCL employees, who have also received dividend worth Rs55 million. He said now the employees have become owners of the company and they should make efforts to maximise profits and strive for growth.
