One of the two police officials injured in a militant attack on Friday in Hangu succumbed to his injuries at DHQ Hospital on Saturday.
DPO Naeem Kundi said unidentified militants attacked a police check post in Sarki Payala on Friday. A driver of Mol oil company, Meena Gul, a resident of Speen Khawri, was killed in the attack while two policemen, Zafrullah and Hilal, were injured. Kundi said Zafrullah succumbed to his injuries while Hilal is said to be in stable condition.
