SUKKUR: With the Sindh police chief in Larkana to review security arrangements for Benazir Bhutto's seventh death anniversary, the residents of the city were shocked to see Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) wall-chalking in Sachal Colony, a posh neighbourhood.

The graffiti appeared on the walls of the Khuhro Sports Complex in Sachal Colony almost overnight. Sources said that SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz said that they had ruled out the presence of the ISIS in Larkana. He informed the sources that the wall-chalking and graffiti was done by some miscreants who wanted to create trouble on the day of the former prime minister's death anniversary in Garhi Khuda Bux. Nawaz added that the matter was being investigated.

Sindh Education Minister Nisar Khuhro has also taken notice of the wall-chalking and has asked the police to investigate. The minister said that the ISIS was not present in the area but added that the presence of militant groups in any part of the country could not be ruled out.
