Unethical business: Shopkeepers warned

LAHORE: The Labour Department’s administration has issued shopkeepers instructions to abide by consumer laws. The department has issued instructions to inspection teams to file a report on this daily. The department’s teams will examine measuring scales of shopkeepers at New Garden Town, Model Town, Lohari Gate, Outfall Road and Samanabad. In the statement issued on Thursday, the department said those found tampering their scales will be dealt with an iron hand.
