400 textile factories closed in Faisalabad

Express April 21, 2010

FAISALABAD: More than 400 textile and other factories have been closed due to gas loadshedding in the Faisalabad region.

Industrialists said that both gas and power load shedding are killing the industry. They complained that it has become impossible for them to open factories in such conditions.

Gas officials claimed they do not have enough reserves to meet the needs of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkha.
