Dozens of residents of Daira Den Panah staged a protest demonstration on Friday against police for not taking action against those behind the appearance of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) wall-chalking in the area.
The ‘Daish zindabaad’ slogan has been on the walls since last week. Police have tried white-washing the graffiti. However, it has been reappearing overnight. After the protest, Daira Den Panah police registered a case against unidentified people.
Similar slogans also appeared in Shadaan and Taunsa’s Nizamia locality.
