Hit-And-Run: Three injured in accident

ISLAMABAD: Three women from a family were injured and a shop was burgled in two separate incidents in Shahzad Town during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, Malik Muhammad Sadiq, a resident of Shakrial, approached the local police that his wife, Naheed, and two daughters, Kainaat and Amna, were travelling in their car (YZ-606) when a reckless driver struck them and sped away. All three women suffered multiple injuries. Meanwhile, Muhammad Munir lodged a complaint with the same police that unidentified thieves entered his general store in Alipur by breaking the locks and made away with cash and valuables worth Rs130,000. The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws.
