The Dangers Of Stress: Psychophysiology conference to be held

KARACHI: The Advanced Educational Institute and Research Centre is organising the first conference on psychophysiology, titled ‘Seven Strings of Stress’, on December 20 at the AQ Khan Centre Institute of Behavioral Sciences. The conference is a platform for researchers and students to explore the realities of stress and the health issues related to it. Abstracts pertaining to stress and distress, neurological complications of stress, immunological stress responses, memory and cognition, trauma, psychosocial pressures and stress management techniques will be presented at the conference. It will also feature talks by experts such as Dr Zafar Iqbal Abbasi, Dr Raza Rahman, Dr Nelofer Sultana, Dr Zsuzsanna, Dr Syeda Haider, Dr Sohail, Dr Zia Moiuddin and Dr Syed A Aziz, highlighting the dangers posed by stress.
