Caps In The Air: BNU holds convocation today

LAHORE: More than 300 graduates will attend the 9th convocation of Beaconhouse National University (BNU) on Friday (today). Rights activist Asma Jilani Jehangir will be the chief guest at the ceremony. A BNU statement says of the 362 graduating students, 163 would receive MPhil, MS and MA degrees. The remaining 199 will receive bachelor’s degrees. These include 62 from the Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design, 30 from the Razia Hassan School of Architecture, 51 from the Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, 94 from the School of Media and Mass Communication, 39 from the School of Computer and Information Technology, 40 from the Institute of Psychology (IP) and 46 from the School of Education. BNU board of governors and deans of different departments will attend the convocation.
