Shack catches fire: Two children killed

RAWALPINDI: Two children were burnt to death after a shack caught fire on Adiala Road in the RA Bazaar area of Rawalpindi. Rescue 1122 officials said that the fire erupted for an undetermined reason and quickly gutted a large number of nearby shacks. Two children who were trapped in one of the shacks sustained serious burns. Rescuers found the children, identified as Zainab, 3, and Fatima, 5, but they were pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.
