Sector d-12: Preliminary work under way

ISLAMABAD: A meeting held at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday was informed that installation of traffic and street signboards in Sector D-12 and the construction of a pre-cast boundary wall between sectors D-12 and D-13 are currently in progress. The meeting was held by CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal at the authority’s headquarters to review the progress on development of Sector D-12. Carpeting work on the approach road from Sector E-11 has been completed, the chairman was informed. Moreover, installation of traffic and street signboards would cost approximately Rs5 million. Afzal directed the relevant departments to complete the project within three months and to ensure the provision of basic amenities in the sector. He was also informed that a tender for construction of the boundary wall has already been floated.
